Dümmen Orange is the world’s largest breeder and propagator of cut flowers, bulbs, tropical plants, pot plants, bedding plants and perennials. For our R&D department in De Lier we are looking for an Intern Plant Breeding (students only!).

Job objective
Our organization grows and flourishes. This results in a fast-changing and, therefore, challenging environment. As Intern Plant Breeding you set-up, execute and evaluate your own small research project in pot chrysanthemum and will get practical experience in breeding activities.

Your tasks and responsibilities
•    Setting up an experimental design given the objective of the project;
•    Setting up protocols;
•    Collecting and analyzing phenotypic crop properties;
•    Analysing, reporting and presenting the results.

Your profile
•    BSc student in Life sciences/Horticulture or Plant breeding;
•    Knowledge about plant breeding, plant physiology and/or plant growing;
•    Strong Analytical skills.
